We have been working alongside Wanaka’s very active community for many years. This experience means we can treat your sporting injuries, digestive issues, migraines, work-related injuries, even old stubborn injuries and provide significant and lasting results. Went there because of a bad pain I had at my knee and Katrina really helped me to deal with it. She took a full hour trying to understand where the issue comes from and then worked on it! She was really helpfull and really kind ! Definitely recommend her if you need to see an osteopath near Wanaka

I can thoroughly recommend a visit to Krystee. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt warmth and friendliness. She is a very good listener and it was a gentle relaxing treatment. I walked out feeling freer, certainly less pain and was delighted to make a follow up appointment.

My first visit to Krystee was so helpful and I felt immediate relief from the neck pain I was experiencing. I felt in safe hands. Her treatment was gentle - even the painful muscle massage parts. Professional yet friendly, plus the bonus of her beautiful dog's gentle greeting at the door. I have more visits planned to address other discomforts and tensions.

I'd like to thank Liana & Rhys Whitehouse for being extremely helpful in my journey to recovery from various injuries I have collected over the years. I've enjoyed experiencing two different styles of treatment from Liana & Rhys and have made a massive progress since I first walked in sometime last year. Thank you!

I have been working with Liana on and off for just over one year now. It is hard to put in to words just how much Liana has done for me during in this time, but I think the simplest description is that I feel she has turned the clock back 20 years. I have multiple difficulties that have been slowly grinding me to a halt. Problems sometimes build up over a period of time and so you don’t always notice how bad things are until you get to a point that the pain or symptoms become untenable. Not all problems and pain come from an accident. Thanks to Liana’s years of experience and sensitivity, she can read my pain and my body better than I can explain. She has helped me through some painful times with her subtle and gentle treatment, and I am now in zero pain, understanding my body better than I ever have, but more importantly I am now in a place of health, strength and resilience both physically and mentally. Treatment is like clothing – one size does not fit all! You have to find the right person and treatment that suits you. However, I have referred numerous friends for varying problems very different from own and they all report positive results from seeing Liana whether they only needed one or multiple treatments. I cannot recommend Liana highly enough. Her years of experience, knowledge and compassion really are testament to the treatment she provides.

I had been suffering from post concussion syndrome for 15 months before seeing Liana. In that time i had sought treatment from a concussion clinic, sports head injury specialist, chiropractor, osteopath, physio therapist and acupuncturist. None of whom had been able to facilitate any significant shift in the trajectory of my recovery. I had a received a earlier recommendation to see Liana. In a period of particular frustration I made the call, booked a flight down from Auckland and scheduled 3 treatments over 5 days with Liana (far from ideal timing but i wanted to try and make the most of the visit). Being treated by Liana was an incredibly good move. 2 months have now past. Looking back this was the most significant turning point in my return to health. Did Liana cure my PCS? No, her treatment was not a cure. I look at it now as a removal of barriers that were preventing my body from healing. The rest was up to me. Since then I have been steadily improving since to the point where i'm now at about 95% (Thank god!) Did I experience a placebo effect? No. After 15 months of seeking treatment from many different modalities i had become pretty jaded and cynical about my state and the ability for anyone to help me. It was my belief that i was just in for the ride and that 'Time' was going to be my my only cure. My impetus to visit Liana was more about continuing to make sure i had ticked the boxes that were available to me. In addition i had already sought treatment from an osteopath and found it to provide no significant benefit at that time, so i wasn't pinning any hope for success on the visit. How would i describe this experience? The treatment itself was very subtle. My take on it is that osteopathy allowed Liana to signal to my body where and how to release blocks to my progress and activate my body's innate potential to heal. It has been most interesting to observe how my body and mind has then progressively responded and adjusted. The human body really is incredible! It is my belief that the success that i have experienced is first and foremost due to Liana being an exceptional health practitioner, both in her field and beyond. The impression that she left me with is that she is deeply intuitive, with an outstanding skill in reading and understanding a human body. She has obviously built on this foundation with extensive technical and practical knowledge of Osteopathy. She is clearly driven to explore and expand her field and challenge herself. On top of this i found her to be a kind and genuine person. I highly recommend Liana as an essential facet of any return-to-health mission that you may be on. She is most definitely a good person to have on your side along the journey of recovery. If you are struggling with PCS then put a visit to Liana on the top of your list and pull out all the stops to make it happen. I only wish i had visited her earlier.
